On September 18 we have an early celebration of both the start of Autumn and Libra season. The Autumn Equinox is the day of perfect balance, when light and dark stand equal — and to step into the harmonizing energy of a new zodiac season. The female archetype connected to this zodiac is the Equal Partner — She is the one who strives for conscious, non-hierarchical, and equal relationships. She is the peacemaker and the negotiator, social and oriented towards others, discovering more about herself through connection. Harmony and balance are essential to her, as is the dance between her own truth and the voices and choices around her.

During this ceremony we will work with both the energy of the Autumn Equinox and the Equal Partner archetype. We will reflect on balance — between giving and receiving, light and dark, self and other — and explore the relationships and partnerships in our lives. As we move from the abundance of summer into the inward turn of autumn, we will gently release what is no longer in harmony and welcome the equanimity, beauty, and grace that Libra invites in.
