This is my new way of sharing — thoughts on what is moving above us, and what it awakens below. Each post comes with a painting that inspired me.
On April 2nd, at 04:11 AM (CET), we welcome the first Full Moon of the new astrological year — a Libra Moon at 12°21, in direct opposition to Aries. Libra, the partner archetype, meeting the Aries wild woman who runs with the wolves.
The Full Moon illuminates. It shines its light on what was hidden. This moment of the lunar cycle is a powerful moment to take a pause, for self-care or for gathering with community.
I myself feel a strong force moving through me. A force that is ready for spring, for getting things done and showing myself again to the world after hibernation. The first spring cleaning has started here and I can't wait until I can get the spring/summer wardrobe out.
This part of me always closes a little, the one that wants to be seen. Hiding in the darkness of winter. But when the sun starts to shine, that inner flame gets awakened, I feel ready to show my face and a bit more skin.
Not even two weeks ago we welcomed spring, a new cycle. The first Full Moon of the new cycle is here to bring us deeper on our own path with courage and curiosity, but within community and unity.
This Full Moon asks: "Can you be wild and free, within your community and relationships?"
Aries is the sign that is focused on the self and is action-oriented, not so much considering the feelings of others. Libra on the other hand can lose itself in relationships to keep the peace, believing there is nothing else that matters.
So what is the healthy balance here?
Where does a separation from the self take place, or where are relationships fading?
The lone wolf always finds its own path within the tribe. Can you feel that support too? And can you ask for it when you need it?
Under the Full Moon is when the wolves howl.
So speak up, use your voice, let it out.
With love, Ella
Journal prompts for this Full Moon
Where do you give too much of yourself for the sake of holding the peace?
Where do you focus on others to avoid following your own dreams, desires and intentions?
Where do you notice blocks around using your voice, speaking your truth or giving your opinion?
In what ways do you put your relationships before your own needs?
What could be a first small step to make changes?
